Which product is right for my horse: Focus Equine or MagRestore?
If your horse misbehaves at home or is often difficult, start with MagRestore. It’s common for this behavior to stem from a magnesium deficiency. Take our questionnaire to help evaluate.
MagRestore is ideal for horses with chronic soreness, collection issues, stiffness, or poor work ethic. Load at 2 scoops AM and PM for 10 days. Maintenance is usually 1 scoop AM and PM.
If deficiency signs are absent, try Focus Equine first.
Can you use both products together?
Yes. Start with MagRestore for nervous types, especially if anxiety worsens at shows. Then add Focus Equine as needed during competition or travel.
During rehab, apply magnesium oil topically (e.g., shoulders), especially before bodywork. Rehab stress depletes magnesium—even in calm horses. Supplementation often helps resolve soreness and behavior changes.
Is your magnesium mixed with any other ingredients?
Powder: No fillers or additives.
Pellets: Made with flax and rice bran as a base for pelletizing.
How can I find out if my horse has a magnesium deficiency?
Start with the questionnaire.
Serum blood tests aren’t reliable. Only 1% of the body’s magnesium is in blood; most is in bone and tissue. Muscle biopsies and urine challenge tests exist but are invasive. Best approach: know the symptoms and watch your horse closely.
